about

We think life in our little community couldn’t get much better…except for one thing:  It can be tough to find great stuff for our homes without succumbing to mass produced home décor or driving somewhere else.  You know what we mean. Sometimes you just want to find the perfect pillow that doesn’t look like it is one of at least 10,000, or pick up a cool chair in a fun color, or find a bench in a great fabric that doesn’t scream big box store.  We shop those stores and love them for all kinds of reasons, but when it comes to making a house home and finding that perfect piece that makes you happy every time you see it, we decided there had to be a better way.  We took matters into our own hands.  We’ve braved flea markets, combed through thrift stores, stalked the fabric store until bold florals and sassy chevrons seemed to be one and the same; we’ve waded through bins and boxes and even our own basements and discovered that there are treasures everywhere just waiting to be found and created.  So after countless hours on the phone, in the car, and at the store, all the while feeding our kids fruit snacks for lunch while we schemed a way to bring you the best, we give you Fresh Home Finds.  Please don’t be put off by our passion for paint and texture and giving something that was once bound for the furniture graveyard a new lease on life.  Don’t find our hope that you meet that perfect piece overbearing.  We just want you to be able to make your home a place that’s happy and beautiful and uniquely yours.  So whether you’re looking for a nightstand or a chair or just that perfect thing you’ll know when you see, we invite you to come in and make yourself comfortable.  Pull up a chair, put your feet up and take a look around.  Happy Fresh Home finding.
